My Dart 440 with Polara 500 fenders (long story) I've had for 15 years so far. The Dart is my every day driver! |
1964 Poly 318 in the '62 Dart 440 wagon: The top end was rebuilt with new cam bearings, reground cam and lifters. The cam specifications are: dur. dur. @ .050 lift clearance intake 270 206 445 018 exhaust 274 212 445 018 110 degree LC Heads were cleaned up with 3 angle valve job, hardened seats, etc. and a little bit of port and polish on the exhaust, and shaved 030, with new seals and springs, new oil pump and fuel pump, double roller timing chain, Weiand 4bbl intake sealed with Offy intake gaskets I got from Gary P. There is a 1 inch spacer under the Carter AFB, which I think flows 625 cfm? |
And you can see the MP electronic ignition package. Headers are just a pipe dream right now, but I sure would like to at least have dual exhaust! Anyone got some pipe lay'n around? |
That's all for now. Thanks for the Web site and help from the '62 to '65 Mail List Clubhouse; it has been a GOD send. |
