1965 Plymouth Belvedere I

Works in Progress

The Plymouth is an original California car, but had some rust in the bottoms of the quarters.
The Belvedere I was currently licensed, and was a driver before we took it apart.

When I had the quarters patched, I had the rear wheel wells mini-tubbed. We do them the right way. When we are through, even Mopar guys can barely tell that the car has been tubbed.

Since these pictures were taken, I have completely stripped the car. It will probably take 8-10 months to finish the paint. All painting and body work will be done on a rotisserie. All of the suspension will be removed and powder coated before replacing.
The 1965 will have the same high quality resto as my 1969 Valiant. The Valiant was entered in the Fall Car Show in Orange County, CA. There were over 1800 cars entered and on display. My Valiant took top honors in the 1960 to 1972 Street Muscle Car. There were over 400 cars in that class alone. The Val is sporting a 440, 4-speed. I did all of the building and engine work myself. The car dyno’'s at alittle over 500 h.p. 1969 Plymouth Valiant with '68 grille and hood 1969 Plymouth Valiant with '68 grille and hood

Thanks, Robert!

The Plymouth Belvedere I found a great new home! Excellent!

Good luck with the restoration!   smile!
