1962 Dart

I finished out this Dart wagon for Frank
Smith, one of our club members
Cowtown Mopars of Fort Worth.

The Mopar was pretty sad when he brought it to me.
I replaced the floor pans with new ones he found and
brought me a Plymouth donor car for the external metal.
The Dodge and Plymouth are different animals but
I managed to make them work.

The Dart has a fairly mild 440.
Future plans call for a lot more motor!

Frank brought to car back to me for the
wiring and plumbing. I recently added an
8 point roll bar in it.

Frank runs the car in Nostalgia Super Stock with the Texas Outsiders
and in the Texas Muscle Car Club Challenge racing series.

So far the Dart has run a best of 7.65 in the 1/8th mile.
