1962 Belvedere 2 door post For Sale in Waynesville, NC. Health forces sale.

This is an Old School restoration. Only 88 miles since new / rebuild. Driven on street, but never at the track.

This 1962 Plymouth is an old race car that I believe ran in Detroit and New York areas. (I have photos of when the car was originally built as a gasser.)

Details

• 440 Cross Ram - gear drive , with 727 Reverse Pattern transmission, and Dana 60 rear end
• Elephant ears engine to frame, plus mid engine plate between engine and transmission to frame
• New steering box with custom support bar
• New updated roll cage
• All new floor pans
• Fabricated Aluminum Firewall
• Tubbed rear wheel wells
• New Pro Car seats, 5 point harnesses, carpet, sill plates, door panels, formed lexan windows, headliner, window scissors, and electric door openers
• Engine and transmission rebuilt. Purple Cam 10:1 pistons, Edlebrock Aluminum heads, aluminum radiator, MDS, New Wiring and fuse box, new Edlebrock 500 carburetors
• All street legal lights, turn signals, brake lights
• Front straight axle rebuilt for better turning radius (by Chris Cline Racing Technology)
• Electric fuel pump, fuel cell, cooling fan, and radiator overflow (to replace Budweiser can)
• Fiberglass tilt front end, fiberglass trunk lid
• Vintage wheels and tires
• Too much more to list!

As Mopar car builders you can imagine how much invested (over $60,000) yet I understand what it is worth to someone else. $25,000 (I may trade for late 1950's Plymouth, Chrysler, etc. that does not need any work as it might be easier for me than race cars.)
